The robotics research team of VISTEC visited Neuromechanics Group-Aoi Lab at the Department of Mechanical Science and Bioengineering, Graduate School of Engineering Science, Osaka University, on June 12th. Prof. Shinya AOI and Assist. Prof. Yuichi AMBE provided us with a lab tour and a research presentation and engaged in a discussion regarding possible research collaboration. Their research group focuses on understanding motor intelligence of animals and applications to robotics.
