MC-PIG project funded by ARV receives Outstanding Paper Award from the 25th Technical Forum (Engineering and Operations) of PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited. The paper is entitled: “Morphological Adaptation for Speed Control of Pipeline Inspection Gauges (MC-PIG), T. Suthisomboon, P. Janbanjong, P. Kosanunt, S. Phodapol, P. Manoonpong”.
Prof. Poramate Manoonpong had participated in the Living Machines 2021 virtual conference. He gave a talk in the workshop namely INVERTEBRATE ROBOTICS, AKA “NO BACKBONE, NO PROBLEM” on 29 July 2021. He talked about the “Neural control for complex behaviors of invertebrate-inspired robots: From locomotion to object transportation and navigation” in the Invertebrate Minds session.

Our Ph.D. students, Mr. Vatsanai Jaiton and Mr. Binggwong Leung had been attending the 9.5th international symposium on Adaptive Motion of Animals and Machines (AMAM 2021) On 22-25 June 2021. Kamnoetvidya Science Academy (KVIS) paid a visit to our Robotics Laboratory on June 25, 2021. A study on exoskeleton trials was delivered to students by Mr. Chaichan Akwutwanich, Ph.D. The students also participated in the treadmill walking experiment while clothed in tracksuits as if they were in a real experiment.
