On October 4 and 11, 2025, we were delighted to welcome students and teachers from across Thailand participating in the PTT STEM Camp to the robotics laboratory at VISTEC–IST.
During their visit, our research assistants and students delivered engaging talks and live demonstrations showcasing how robotics can be applied in everyday life. The sessions highlighted how robotics and artificial intelligence contribute to healthcare, manufacturing, and daily assistance aiming to inspire young students to explore science, technology, and innovation.

In addition to the presentations, the visitors enjoyed exciting demonstrations of the Gekko robot and dung beetle locomotion robot, which mimic the unique movements of these animals. These bio-inspired robots illustrated how researchers draw inspiration from nature to design efficient and adaptive robotic systems capable of navigating complex environments.

The visit aimed to spark curiosity and encourage future generations to pursue careers in robotics and engineering. Through hands-on demonstrations and discussions, participants gained a deeper understanding of how robots can improve quality of life and help solve real-world challenges.
