SCB Academy visits our robotics laboratory

On September 17, 2025, we were honored to host SCB Academy at our robotics laboratory.

During their visit, the robotics team, including Prof. Poramate Manoonpong, Dr. Worasuchad Haomachai (Postdoc), Mr. Thirawat Chuthong (Ph.D. student), Mr. Atthanat Harnkhamen (Senior research engineer), Ms. Natchaya Sricom (Research engineer), Mr. Matas Manawakul (Research engineer), Mr. Saifa Meethong (Intern student), and Mr. Karanyaphas Chitsuebsai (Intern student) delivered an engaging presentation showcasing the laboratories and several bio-inspired robotic systems, including a dual-arm robot, an exoskeleton robot, and animal-like robots. These demonstrations highlighted the lab’s focus on integrating biology with robotics to create innovative and functional systems for real-world applications.

The delegation also visited VISTEC-GAIT, where researchers demonstrated the lab’s capabilities in gait analysis and system integration, featuring motion capture systems and a split-belt treadmill. The platform supports research in biomechanics, rehabilitation, and human–robot interaction, emphasizing how precise motion data contributes to the development of assistive technologies and robotic control systems.
