On the 3rd of November 2022, we are delighted that EXOBIC (Intelligent EXOskeleton with BIofeedback for AdvanCed Rehabilitation) was featured on TNN Tech reports. On the 8th of October 2022, we welcomed a group of visitors from IMET MAX #4 (IMET Mentorship Academy for Excellent Leaders). They visited the robotic studio and Smart Living Room at IST, VISTEC, Thailand. We presented our bio-inspired robots, which can perform animal-like behavior and further be developed for industrial and medical purposes.

On the 22nd of September 2022, MEng Information Science and Technology candidate, Nopparada Mingchinda, presented her conference proceedings for the 16th International Conference on the Simulation of Adaptive Behaviour at CY Cergy-Pontoise, France. From May 20 to September 31, 2022, a member of our brain lab visited the Maersk Mc-Kinney Moller Institute, SDU Biorobotics, and Soft Robotics lab at the University of Southern Denmark as a guest Ph.D. student. We also have collaborated on research projects like hexapod locomotion with a soft cover.
On 12 – 14 September 2022, a member of our brain lab, Mr. Naris Asawalertsak attended the CLAWAR 2022 conference in Azores, Portugal to present the paper “Exploiting friction anisotropy for soft robot locomotion”.
