From Animals To Animats 16: The 16th International Conference on the Simulation of Adaptive Behaviour (SAB2022)

On the 22nd of September 2022, MEng Information Science and Technology candidate, Nopparada Mingchinda, presented her conference proceedings for the 16th International Conference on the Simulation of Adaptive Behaviour at CY Cergy-Pontoise, France.

The conference proceedings was a part of her graduation requirement titled: “Neural Body Bending Control with Temporal Delays for Millipede-Like Turning Behaviour of a Multi-segmented, Legged Robot”, and was published in Springer’s International Conference on Simulation of Adaptive Behaviour. This work exploited the neural dynamics of series of recurrent single neurons for generating a millipede-inspired turning behaviour in a millipede-like robot, with implications for future uses for exploration in narrow spaces.
