On October 29, 2025, Professor Dr. Poramate Manoonpong, together with postdoctoral researchers, students, and research engineers from the Research Center for Advanced Robotics and Intelligent Automation (ARIA), School of Information Science and Technology (IST), Vidyasirimedhi Institute of Science and Technology (VISTEC), visited Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, where the event was warmly welcomed and hosted by Associate Professor Ki-Young Song.
During the visit, Professor Dr. Poramate delivered a talk titled “Nature’s Intelligence for Physical AI: From Biology to AI and Robotics.” The presentation highlighted how nature-inspired principles are advancing the frontiers of Artificial Intelligence and robotics, deepening our understanding of adaptive, resilient, and intelligent systems.
