Rayong, Thailand – The annual AI Academy Camp, a collaboration between Kamnoetvidya Science Academy School (KVIS) and Vidyasirimedhi Institute of Science and Technology (VISTEC), took place on April 3rd, 2024, welcoming an eager group of students from various schools across Rayong. This year’s event focused on hands-on exploration in Mobile Robotics, Soft Robotics, and Computer Vision, the latter held in the innovative ARIA room.
Students dived into the world of advanced-legged robots, learning to control these marvels and understanding their components in Mobile Robotics. Soft Robotics provided a practical look into the future of robot design, emphasizing adaptability and efficiency. The Computer Vision sessions in the WAI room introduced participants to human detection and skeleton tracking, showcasing the application of machine learning and reinforcement learning in understanding visual data.
This year’s camp offered a unique blend of learning, creativity, and technology, underscoring the importance of AI and robotics in shaping the future. It stands as a beacon of inspiration for Rayong’s youth, guiding them toward innovation and discovery in the digital age.
