On 24th August 2026, we were delighted to welcome students from Walailak University to our Robotics Studio, and ARIA rooms

During the visit, Dr. Vatsanai Jaiton (Postdoctoral Researcher), Mr. Nasree Hayeesamaae (Master Student), and Mr. Pavaris Asawakijtananont (Master Student) of Bio-inspired Robotics delivered an engaging presentation introducing the laboratory’s ongoing research and innovations in bio-inspired robotics. He showcased several robotic platforms inspired by nature, including the gecko robot, which demonstrate adaptive and efficient locomotion strategies.

In addition to bio-inspired systems, the presentation also featured industrial robots, such as Dual-arm manipulator, highlighting their applications in real-world environments.

Moreover, our members presented the research facilities available in our laboratory, including motion capture cameras for accurately tracking robot movements and a treadmill system designed for conducting exoskeleton studies. These facilities enable precise measurement and analysis of locomotion dynamics, supporting both robotic and human-interactive experiments.

The visit provided an excellent opportunity to share insights into the lab’s interdisciplinary work bridging biology, robotics, and human-centered design.
