The Green Area Assessment with Remote Sensing Technology project (GAAST) aims to study and develop a model for assessing the carbon absorption of forests with remote sensing technology. According to this, the project will utilize remote sensing data from different sources (drone images, satellite images, optical remote sensing data, etc.) to reduce cost and human resource in above ground biomass (AGB) measurement in large areas.
