On December 6, 2024, the Robotics Lab at IST (VISTEC), led by Prof. Poramate Manoonpong, along with Dr. Harn Sison, Dr. Worasuchad Haomachai, Dr. Jattanan Homchanthanakul, and Dr. Chaicharn Akkawutvanich, visited Rangsit University to deliver talks titled “Nature’s Intelligence for Physical AI: From Biology to AI and Robotics“ and discuss research collaborations with students and faculty members from the Biomedical Engineering Department. The event was warmly welcomed by Assoc. Prof. Acting Sub LT. Dr. Phichitphon Chotikunnan, Assoc. Prof. Nuntachai Thongpance, Mr. Rawiphon Chotikunnan, Assist. Prof. Sani Boonyagul, Asst. Prof. Yutthana Pititheeraphab, Dr. Thanate Angsuwatanakul, and Ms. Wanida Khotakham.
In the late afternoon, our team had the privilege of being led by Assoc. Prof. Acting Sub Lt. Dr. Phichitphon Chotikunnan and Mr. Rawiphon Chotikunnan on a guided tour of the Biomedical Engineering Department’s laboratory facilities. The visit provided us with an excellent opportunity to explore their cutting-edge equipment, advanced technologies, and ongoing research projects. It was an insightful experience that deepened our understanding of the department’s contributions to innovation and its role in advancing biomedical engineering solutions.
