Confined Space Safety Team

Confined Space Safety is a crucial aspect of workplace safety that focuses on ensuring the safe operation within areas defined as “confined spaces.” These spaces typically have limited entry and exit points, making them hazardous environments due to factors such as poor ventilation, potentially toxic substances, or low oxygen levels.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Entry Supervisor: Oversees and authorizes entry into confined spaces, ensuring safety protocols.
Attendant: Monitors the external environment, maintaining communication and initiating emergency procedures if necessary.
Authorized Entrant: Performs the actual work inside the space, following all safety guidelines and maintaining contact with the Attendant.
Rescue Team: Trained to respond to emergencies, ensuring quick and safe extraction of personnel if needed.
